Tom Evans MIA

For the last week Evans has been out of touch with the league commisioner and his captain David "Moose" Anderson. Sources say the former first round DB may have lost touch with the game. Evans is believed to be on the shore of the Susquehanna river in Wilkes-Barre and the comparisons to Ricky Williams are alredy being heard around the league.

Wally’s World Outlasts Moose’s Knuckles in 2nd Half Thriller With the no show of Tom Evans Moose’s Knuckles picked up Lakeland’s own, Evan Kraky. Coach Anderson seemed to glow with confidence before the game but the GMFL’s 2nd ranked defense shut down the savvy Knuckles team. The game seemed to be going in the wrong direction as fans left at a halftime score of 5-0, Wally’s World. QB Jamie McDonough seemed to be unstoppable as he carved Anderson’s defense. As for the Knuckles, they just seemed nothing short of confused in every aspect of the game as they went through 3 different QB’s. The second half proved to be a much different story as Kraky came out of the woods wearing the #10. Mrozca, Anderson, Bandru, Makala, and Kraky seemed to come into their own as Coach Anderson came out of halftime with something to prove. The next hour of play was littered with Int’s and TD as Mrozca’s had solid D, Kraky scrambled and Anderson just plain out made plays. When Kraky wasn’t at QB Eric Makala seemed to do more than hold his own at the helm. The Knuckles went on to set a GMFL point record of 7 in one half and did not even convert on all opportunities. Coach Zabrowski took the run head on took over at QB and finished the game hitting Rogowski deep on occasion. Norton looked sharp on defense as the rest of the team made minimal mistakes. Wally’s World proved to just be too much. Final score 10-7 Wally’s World.

New Acquitsition for The Sweethearts comes up big

Another Big Embarassing Loss

Poncho's Heroes came out looking like a new team early on Wednesday.  Then came the Ints.  Wally's World took over the game late in the first half with a smothering defense.  Three of the six Ints thrown by Poncho's Heroes were brought back for pay dirt.

Tom Norton made the deep catches on offense from the strong arm of Wally Zabrowski.  The balanced Wally's World was just flat out too much for Poncho's Heroes. Final Score 10-2
